1727 Direction LLC
Rev. Jared Webb, MPTH
I am a registered spiritual director with Christ-Centered Spiritual Director's Association (ESDA). A native Michigander, after abandoning my childhood hopes of becoming a Pokémon master, I dreamed of attending the University of Michigan but was led by the Spirit to move to Indiana to pursue ministerial education at Indiana Wesleyan University (and I have been stuck as a Hoosier ever since). There, I earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Christian Ministry and Philosophy/Theology ('17) and a Master's of Practical Theology ('19; MDiv equivalent). As an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church ('20), I serve full-time as an Assistant Pastor at Lakeview Wesleyan Church where I oversee discipleship and first impressions. Part-time, I also serve as a chaplain at Grant County Jail. I love teaching people how theology is relevant to everyday living. In my free time, you'll find me cracking jokes, reading, making pizza, drinking coffee, disc golfing, and enjoying God's creation. My wife Kayla and I have been married since 2019 and have one wild child, Quinnly.
I started 1727 Direction with the belief that God is near each of us—waiting to reveal Himself (Acts 17:27). God is present at the gas station, by the lawn mower, in the waiting room, and on the golf course. I have been greatly formed by discovering more of Jesus in my everyday life and by allowing Him to unveil the person He always meant me to be. It would be my joy to walk with you as you discern where God has been in your story and what chapter He wants to write with you next.
